in the sky

I worked in all sky scenes during the spring break. I still need to animate the character, and fix some movement details in the environment.

Here are some frames of the sequences:

1-Walking Home (with the star)

Ending:
3-Sleeps in a cloud
4-Wakes up in the bed (same position)

Flying as a kite_in progress

This will be the final look for the star, I played overlapping layers and using blending modes. In this speccific scene, I started using colored pencil, and is showed in the sky and on the ground, I love the contrast of textures and what the colored pencil brings the the scenes.

Production Schedule [Spring 2011]

Week 3: Flying as a kite/ Hang it from a tree.

Week 4: Finish first part and compose it together: Manu tries to fly, Finds the star/ In the Room/ Flying Push it with a swing/ Hang it from a tree/ Flying as a kite.

Week 5: From earth to sky/ Finish kite scene/

Week 6: City scene/Under water.

Week 7: Under water/ Last scene: The bedroom.

Week 8:Last scene/ make face expressions.

Week 9: Work in face expressions and animated outlines.

Week 10: Open credits/ Final credits.

Week 11:Final render.
